It seems we've reached the age where Avery wants to do everything she sees mommy and daddy doing. She likes to try to put on her own shoes (or ours for that matter), she brushes her hair, brushes her teeth, talks on the phone, likes to pretend to drive and even switch gears, and her latest accomplishment - puckering up for some of Daddy's Chapstick! It really is adorable to watch and we don't know how she learned it other than watching us. She purses her little lips and then gleefully rubs Chapstick all over them. She'll even try putting it on us!
She also somewhat successfully dressed herself this evening. She got a hold of a pair of shorts from her dirty clothes pile and next thing I knew she had one leg through one of the holes. She was mighty proud of herself!

Ready, Set, BLOG!
Hello to all our friends and family! I've decided to join the blogging world as a way of sharing stories about the things happening in our life. My dear friend Lindsey has been blogging about her boys Nolan and Hudson for a couple years, and I've greatly enjoyed reading about all their adventures. So indstead of feeling envious that Lindsey had all these memories recorded for herself and her family, I decided to start blogging myself so we can keep track and remember all of Avery's precious moments!
